Artist's Description
Sea Horse by Roy Pedersen.The scientific name is Hippocampus. It comes from the Ancient Greek word hippos meaning "horse" and kampos meaning "sea monster" . The original image was taken on a shallow scuba dive. The Sea Horse is endangered. Many of them end up dead in souvenir shops. The original photograph was edited to have a painted look.
