The Monastery is built on a sandstone pillar of rock in the area of Greece called Meteora.The word meteora means "hovering in the air" .The James Bond film "For your eyes only " was filmed in Meteora.The area is a UNESCO world heritage site.

While in the army, I learned to Scuba dive and after leaving the forces I began working as a freelance Scuba Diving Instructor and photographer.
