Artist's Description

Chieftain Tank Abstract by Roy Pedersen.The Chieftain was the main battle tank of the British Army.It was used by the RAC and issued to the 17th/21st Lancers an elite Cavalry Regiment.The Chieftain Tank was one of the most advanced tanks of its age and also introduced a reclining backwards position for the driver . It remained in service until replaced with the Challenger 1.The Chieftain has a crew of four.
