The 17/21 Lancers is an elite Cavalry Regiment in the Broitish Army's Royal Armoured Corp (RAC). it was formed in 1922 by the amalgamation of the 17th and 21st Lancers. Among the many battle honours gained by the regiment the 17th Lancers took part in the Charge of the Light Brigade during the Crimean War. The 17/21 Lancers has the distinction of wearing a Motto and not a cap badge
