Ride A White Swan by Roy Pedersen. The Swans were at the Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve in Sevenoaks, Kent, UK. They are Mute Swans. They are not actually mute but tend to be less vocal than other Swans due to the anatomy of their trachea. There are seven species of Swans; Black Swan (Cygnus atratus), Black-Necked Swan (Cygnus melancoryphus), Coscoroba Swan (Coscoroba coscoroba), Mute Swan (Cygnus olor), Trumpeter Swan (Cygnus buccinator),
Tundra Swan (Cygnus columbianus) and the Whooper Swan (Cygnus cygnus). The Two Swans here form a love heart shape with their necks. The original image has been edited to have a painted look.
