Old School Sign by Roy Pedersen. www.roypedersenphotography.com The old enamel school sign for learning Weights and measures can be found in the old village school of Tyneham in Dorset,UK. In 1943 the villages were given only 28 days notice to leave their village so that the millitary could use it to train for the invasion of France. They never returned. Today the deserted village is on the millitary range at Lulworth. Access is given to the village most weekends and public holidays.
