Bernhard Plockhorst was born in Germany on March 2, 1825 and died May 18, 1907. The children are on the edge of a cliff and the Angel is looking after them. This old painting is from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. The painting is in the Public Domain and is free to use with the permission of the museum
